Job summary

East-West Seed seeks a Technical Seed Production Manager to oversee the production of technical seed, ensuring high quality and cost-effective output. You will ensure stockseed requirements are met for the commercial seed production team and coordinate with the SS coordinator for stock seed availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture with a major in Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of direct Breeding/Seed Production experience.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant breeding, biotech, seed pathology, seed technology, and seed physiology.

Responsibilities

• Make a budgetary plan for the department.
• Prepare and allocate TSP targets in coordination with Group Planners.
• Produce parental seeds meeting quality standards.
• Produce parental seeds according to production guidelines.
• Monitor stock seed inventory and coordinate with QC for timely quality updates.
