Job summary

Tao Foods Company Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager - Rice Seeds to ensure all rice seed products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications from seed production through storage and distribution.

You will oversee QA/QC systems, seed testing, documentation, and CAPA while leading cross-functional teams to improve processes and outcomes. This role demands strong leadership and field auditing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Science, Seed Science, Biology, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
• A Master's degree in Seed Science, Plant Breeding, Agronomy, or related discipline is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in rice seed/agribusiness.
• Experience in seed testing, seed processing, seed certification, or seed production is highly preferred.
• Supervisory or managerial experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC systems for rice seed production and processing.
• Establish quality standards for seed production, harvesting, drying, processing, packaging, storage, and distribution.
• Supervise seed sampling and testing for germination, physical purity, moisture, varietal purity, seed health, and other parameters.
• Coordinate with laboratories for seed testing and certification requirements.
• Monitor production activities to ensure compliance with quality specs.
• Conduct inspections and audits of seed production areas, facilities, warehouses, and inventory.
• Investigate quality issues and implement CAPA.
• Maintain records of seed testing, inspections, traceability, and certifications.
• Ensure proper lot/batch traceability from production to distribution.
• Monitor storage conditions to preserve seed quality.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, Agronomy, Warehouse, Sales, and Regulatory teams.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and seed standards.
• Develop and conduct training programs for personnel involved in seed production and testing.
• Analyze quality data and prepare management reports.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce defects and complaints.
• Support product development and field trials with quality data.
• Manage QA/QC staff and laboratory personnel.
