Job summary

Capgemini Philippines Corp. is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery within an API delivery squad. You will coach teams, facilitate ceremonies, and drive predictability across sprints and releases to deliver APIs and integration services.

Responsibilities include governance, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and promoting continuous improvement with DevOps/DevSecOps practices. Strong collaboration with Product Owners and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Agile delivery
• 3+ years as Scrum Master in software delivery
• Experience delivering APIs and integration platforms
• Experience working with distributed onshore-offshore delivery teams
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and release management practices

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery execution within an API Delivery Squad.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure sprint predictability.
• Monitor sprint progress, release readiness, and delivery risks.

YOUR PROFILE

The Scrum Master is responsible for leading Agile delivery execution within an API Delivery Squad, ensuring the successful design, development, testing, and deployment of APIs and integration services. The role acts as a servant leader, Agile coach, and delivery facilitator, driving sprint predictability, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and continuous improvement while enabling high-performing cross-functional teams to deliver business value at speed and quality.

Agile Delivery Leadership

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
• Ensure effective sprint execution and adherence to Agile principles and team working agreements
• Drive sprint predictability, velocity tracking, and commitment management
• Coach squad members on Agile best practices and continuous improvement techniques.

Delivery Governance & Reporting

• Monitor sprint progress, release readiness, and delivery risks

Impediment & Risk Management

• Identify delivery blockers, dependencies, and risks early

• Escalate critical risks affecting scope, schedule, quality, or release commitments
• Facilitate dependency management across multiple delivery squads.

API Delivery Coordination

• Support end-to-end API delivery activities covering:

o Requirements Analysis

o API Design

o Development

o Testing

o Security Validation

o Release Deployment

• Ensure Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) standards are consistently applied.
• Coordinate release and deployment activities with DevOps and platform teams.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized backlog.
• Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, and mitigation plans effectively to leadership and clients.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive lessons learned and retrospective action plans.
• Promote automation, quality engineering, and DevSecOps practices.
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and innovation.
• Support adoption of AI-enabled delivery practices and modern engineering excellence standards.

YOUR ROLE

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 5+ years of Agile delivery experience
• 3+ years as a Scrum Master in software delivery environments
• Experience delivering APIs, integration platforms, middleware, or digital transformation initiatives
• Experience working with distributed onshore-offshore delivery teams
• Strong understanding of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD, and release management practices.
