Job summary

Insular Oil Corporation in the Philippines seeks a seasoned accounting professional to lead the Closing & Support team, oversee SAP postings, reconciliations, and JE support, and ensure timely reporting. You will manage month-end closing, review schedules, enforce cut-offs, and coordinate with invoicing, treasury, and terminals to deliver audit-ready deliverables.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred.
3–5 years in accounting operations or SAP.
1–2 years supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of SAP postings, reconciliations.
Advanced Excel and documentation discipline.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end month-end closing: JEs, accruals, reversals, reconciliations, cut-off enforcement.
Review closing schedules and supporting documents for accuracy.
Coordinate with Invoicing, Voucher Processing, Treasury, and Departments/Terminals during closing.
Maintain and update SOPs, templates, and documentation with version control.
Support internal and external audits with PBCs and supporting documents.
