Job summary

Divergence HR Consulting Philippines is seeking a Sales Trainer to design and deliver end-to-end sales and business development training. You will translate practical selling techniques into engaging programs and work with sales leadership to close capability gaps.

You will onboard new hires, coach ongoing performers, and continuously improve the training curriculum, materials, and resources. Strong facilitation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent presentation and facilitation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design onboarding and training programs for Sales and Business Development teams.
• Deliver training across the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Develop training materials, playbooks, scripts, and exercises.
• Conduct role plays, coaching sessions, and assessments.
• Identify capability gaps from data and feedback from leaders.

Job description

We are looking for a Sales Trainer to support the end-to-end training and development of our Sales and Business Development teams.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on sales experience who can translate practical selling techniques into structured, engaging, and results-focused training. You will work closely with sales leadership to identify capability gaps, onboard new team members, and continuously improve the performance of the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and facilitate onboarding and training programs for Sales and Business Development teams
• Deliver training across the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, discovery, pitching, objection handling, negotiation, closing, and account development
• Develop training materials, playbooks, scripts, exercises, and other learning resources
• Conduct role plays, coaching sessions, assessments, and refresher training
• Identify skills and knowledge gaps through observation, performance data, and feedback from sales leaders
• Support new hires from onboarding through sales readiness
• Track training effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Maintain and continuously improve the company’s sales training curriculum and resources
• Stay updated on effective sales methodologies, tools, and practices

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, sales training, coaching, or a related role
• Good understanding of the end-to-end sales and business development process
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
• Comfortable coaching individuals and facilitating group sessions
• Able to create practical and easy-to-use training materials
• Organized and able to manage multiple training activities independently
• Experience in B2B sales environments is an advantage
• Experience using CRM and sales enablement tools is an advantage
