Sales Support – Semiconductor Industry
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Sales Support professional to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to the Sales team, manage customer orders, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure accurate and timely processing of sales transactions using SAP.
Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and monitor customer purchase orders and sales orders using SAP.
- Ensure accurate entry of customer, material, pricing, quantity, and delivery information.
- Monitor order status, delivery schedules, back orders, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production Planning, and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and other sales-related concerns.
- Prepare sales reports, order status reports, quotations, and other required documents.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records in SAP and other company systems.
- Monitor pending orders and proactively follow up with concerned departments.
- Assist the Sales team with day-to-day administrative and operational requirements.
- Investigate and coordinate resolution of discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, pricing, and billing.
- Perform other sales support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Sales Support, Sales Administration, Order Management, Customer Service, or Sales Operations.
- Experience in the semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or industrial industry is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is required/preferred.
- Experience processing Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, deliveries, and billing-related transactions in SAP.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, filters, and basic formulas.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data and documents.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
- Able to work independently and effectively with different departments.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of semiconductor or electronic components.
- Familiarity with lead time, allocation, forecast, MOQ, back orders, and delivery schedules.
- Experience dealing with EMS, distributors, or semiconductor customers.
- Experience coordinating with Production Planning and Logistics.
- Knowledge of SAP reports and basic data analysis.
