Job summary

Par Excellence Search Consulting Inc. seeks an experienced Supply Chain Customer Service Superintendent to act as a key liaison between markets and internal supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics, Operations, or related functions.
• Hands-on experience in Sales Order Management, shipment coordination, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems; knowledge of MRP and production planning is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and process Sales Orders (SOs) in SAP, ensuring customer requirements are properly captured and executed.
• Monitor SO progress from production through shipment and address delays and issues.
• Prepare priority shipment lists and volume requirements based on open orders.
• Coordinate with Packaging, Shipping Planning, QA, Warehousing, and Logistics teams to ensure timely order completion.
• Support stuffing and shipping plans, container projections, vessel space allocation, and container repositioning requirements.
• Accurately identify and document loss reasons for shipment delays and shortfalls.
• Monitor key supply chain indicators (PSA, OTIF, CRF).
• Serve as primary contact for market inquiries and concerns relating to products and shipments.
• Provide timely updates on Sales Orders, shipment status, open issues, and recovery actions.

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Customer Service Superintendent to serve as a key point of contact between markets and internal supply chain teams. This role manages end-to-end sales order execution, coordinates shipment commitments, monitors inventory, and resolves customer and market concerns.

You will work closely with Production Planning, Quality Assurance, Warehousing, Logistics, Packaging, and commercial teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. The role also plays an important part in preventing product obsolescence, improving supply chain processes, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Review and process Sales Orders (SOs) in SAP, ensuring customer requirements and special instructions are properly captured and executed.

Monitor SO progress from production through shipment and proactively address delays, shortfalls, and other fulfillment issues.

Prepare priority shipment lists and volume requirements based on open orders.

Conduct weekly reviews of the Consolidated Planned Shipment (CPS) report, identifying shipment delays, shortfalls, allocation concerns, order lead-time issues, and packaging constraints.

Coordinate with Packaging, Shipping Planning, QA, Warehousing, and Logistics teams to ensure timely order completion.

Support stuffing and shipping plans, container requirement projections, vessel space allocation, and container repositioning requirements.

Accurately identify and document loss reasons for shipment delays and shortfalls.

Monitor key supply chain performance indicators, including PSA, OTIF, and CRF.

Serve as a primary contact for market inquiries and concerns relating to products and shipments.

Provide timely updates on Sales Orders, shipment status, open issues, and recovery actions.

Participate in regular market meetings and conference calls to address concerns, provide updates, and capture customer requirements and special instructions.

Recommend efficient and cost-effective shipment solutions to support market requirements.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and maintain customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management

Conduct regular inventory reviews with Supply Chain Planning, QA, and market teams.

Identify ageing and unencumbered inventory and coordinate appropriate disposition strategies to minimize obsolescence and write-offs.

Work with QA on disposition guidance for impounded inventory.

Review and provide feedback on the accuracy of material and customer master data.

Project & Process Improvement

Coordinate with NPD and Business Development teams on production timelines and new product development requirements.

Support the implementation of new supply chain and production execution projects.

Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiency.

Contribute to initiatives that improve order fulfillment, inventory management, and overall supply chain performance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Research, Engineering, Management, or a related field.

3-5 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics, Operations, or related functions.

Hands-on experience in Sales Order Management, shipment coordination, inventory management, or supply chain operations.

Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems; knowledge of MRP and production planning is an advantage.

Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals, inventory management, production planning, and logistics processes.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
