Job summary

RELX Manila is seeking a Commissions Analyst to support sales compensation processes, reconcile data between Salesforce and Xactly Incent, and maintain an Excel tracker for adjustments.

You will verify incentive statements, enforce data quality and governance, update Sales team hierarchy in Xactly, handle sales queries, and contribute to ad hoc analytics projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or completed at least 2 years in college with no back subjects.
• 1–2 years sales compensation or payroll experience preferred.
• 1–2 years experience with financial analysis of pay, revenue & sales data.
• Proficient Excel skills (lookups, sumifs, pivots).
• Analytical mind with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex calculations clearly.
• Desire to learn, take on varied tasks and grow with the company.
• Familiarity with Salesforce & Xactly would be a huge plus.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Data Reconciliation: compare Salesforce vs Xactly Incent data and reconcile discrepancies.

• Review daily Error and Reject logs and escalate to sales managers.
• Incentive Statement Accuracy: verify system-generated incentive statements.
• Data Quality and Governance: maintain clean data and update Sales team hierarchy in Xactly.
• Sales Support and Query Handling: respond to sales inquiries about commissions.
• Ad Hoc Requests and Solutions: support special analytics projects and process improvements.

Job description

• Data Reconciliation:
  • Salesforce vs. Xactly Incent: You’ll compare and reconcile sales data between Salesforce (where deals are tracked) and Xactly Incent (the commission system). This involves identifying discrepancies, investigating any mismatches, and ensuring alignment.
  • Maintain an excel tracker for manual adjustments & agreed exceptions.
  • Review daily Error and Reject logs highlighting any concerns or action points to sales manager/s.
• Incentive Statement Accuracy:
  • The analyst reviews and verifies incentive statements generated by the system. They cross-check calculations, commission rates, and eligibility criteria to ensure accuracy.
• Data Quality and Governance:
  • Ensuring data accuracy and governance is essential. You’ll maintain clean and reliable data in the system.
  • Ensure Sales team hierarchy is kept up to date in Xactly removing leavers, adding joiners, updating transfers and changes in compensation related data.
  • Ensure new joiners are given access in a timely manner and ensure prompt issue of plan rules documents & ensure guarantees are paid on time.
• Sales Support and Query Handling:
  • When sales representatives have questions or concerns about their commissions, the analyst provides timely and helpful responses. They research inquiries, address discrepancies, and offer support to sales teams.
  • Ensure proper adoption of the query management process as well as processes that govern queries around sales achieved and targets.
• Ad Hoc Requests and Solutions:
  • Beyond routine tasks, the Commissions Analyst assists with special projects, ad hoc analytical reports, and process improvements related to sales compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or completed atleast 2 years in college without any back subjects or failed subjects
• 1-2 years sales compensation (or payroll) experience highly preferable.
• 1-2 years experience with financial analysis of pay related, revenue & sales data a strong advantage.
• Proficient excel skills (lookups, sumifs, pivots etc)
• Analytical mind with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyse and explain complex calculations clearly.
• Desire to continuously learn, take on a wide range of tasks and grow with our company.
• Familiarity with Salesforce & Xactly would be a huge plus.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply enterprise AI tools and technologies to support technical workflows and business objectives.
