Job summary

Maybank in Laguna, Philippines is seeking a Sales Staff to support branch operations and drive customer growth. You will deliver strong customer service, build client relationships, and help grow sales through cross-selling and account management.

You will handle client onboarding with complete KYC, assist in cash handling when needed, and participate in achieving branch targets across deposits, loans, cards, and bancassurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year business course.
• 2–3 years of branch banking experience.
• Knowledge of branch sales, bancassurance, credit cards, auto loans, mortgage is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Proactively cross-sell banking products to existing clients and generate new customer leads through cold calls, referrals, field visits, and in-branch walk-ins.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for deposits, loans, credit cards, bancassurance, and other assigned products.
• Actively participate in roadshows and corporate tie-ups to generate qualified leads.
• Identify and develop new business segments such as high-net-worth individuals, professionals, or SME’s.
• Performs due diligence KYC, interview of depositor, and request for appropriate documents.
• Attends to customer’s queries re: account opening, product features, minimum balances requirements, pricing service charges, balances inquiries and alike.
• Serves as the alternate of ATM custodian, managing ATM replenishment, reconciliation, and first-level troubleshooting.
• When needed, accompanies the Branch Head during client calls to help drive business growth, contributing to increase branch volume and profitability.
• Handles additional duties as may be assigned by Branch Head in line with business needs.

Your Profile

• Graduate of any four (4) year business course
• With at least 2 to 3years of experience in branch banking.
• Knowledge and exposure in branch sales and operations, bancassurance, credit cards, auto loans, RSME, and mortgage is an advantage
• With good communication skills (writing and oral).
