Job summary

Maybank Philippines is seeking a Sales Staff to support branch heads by delivering excellent customer service, building lasting client relationships, and driving sales through cross-selling and account management.

You will handle client onboarding with complete KYC requirements, ensure AML/CFT compliance, and may assist in cash handling or teller duties to ensure smooth branch operations. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in branch banking is preferred.
• Knowledge of bancassurance, credit cards, auto loans and mortgages is a plus.
• Ability to onboard clients with complete KYC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cross-sell banking products to existing clients and generate new leads.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for deposits, loans, credit cards, and other products.
• Participate in roadshows and corporate tie-ups to drive business.
• Identify new business segments such as high-net-worth individuals and SMEs.
• Support in cash handling or teller duties when needed.
• Assist Branch Head during client visits to grow branch volume.

Job description

The Sales Staff reports to the Branch Head and supports the branch by delivering good customer service, building strong client relationships, and helping grow sales through cross-selling and account management. The role also handles client onboarding with complete KYC requirements, follows AML/CFT compliance, and may assist in cash handling or teller duties when needed to ensure smooth branch operations.

How you can contribute

• Proactively cross-sell banking products to existing clients and generates new customer leads through cold calls, referrals, field visits, and in-branch walk-ins.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for deposits, loans, credit cards, bancassurance, and other assigned products.
• Actively participate in roadshows, and corporate tie-ups to generate qualified leads.
• Identify and develop new business segments such as high-net-worth individuals, professionals, or SME’s.
• Performs due diligent KYC, interview of depositor, and request for appropriate documents.
• Attends to customer’s queries re: account opening, product features, minimum balances requirements, pricing service charges, balances inquiries and alike.
• Serves as the alternate of ATM custodian, managing ATM replenishment, reconciliation, and first-level troubleshooting.
• When needed, the Sales Staff accompanies the Branch Head during client calls to help drive business growth, contributing to increase branch volume and profitability.
• Handles additional duties as may be assigned by Branch Head in line with business needs.

Your Profile

• Graduate of any four (4) year business course
• With at least 2 to 3years of experience in branch banking.
• Knowledge and exposure in branch sales and operations, bancassurance, credit cards, auto loans, RSME, and mortgage is an advantage
• With good communication skills (writing and oral).
