Job summary

Monee in Manila is seeking a Merchants Operations Specialist to manage onboarding, merchant documentation, and kit replacements. You will coordinate with Marketing, BD/KAM, Product, Operations, and other teams to ensure timely completion.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, process improvement, and reporting; you will maintain trackers, support automation efforts, and handle high-volume cases within SLA/TAT while ensuring compliance with KYM/KYC requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong document review, data validation, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with government and business documents (SEC, DTI, BIR, permits, GIS, IDs) is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of KYM/KYC, AML, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Onboard merchants for Submerchants, Off-Us SPL, and Off-Us Marketing Promotion requests and validate information.
• Process approved new/replacement requests for QR, POSM, tents, SIMs, and other kits; coordinate fulfillment with inventory, logistics, and vendors.
• Identify recurring issues and bottlenecks; support UAT, testing, and deployment of process improvements and automation.
• Maintain onboarding, merchant support, replacement, and inventory trackers; provide daily/weekly/ad hoc updates with proper documentation.
• Manage data quality across merchant records and coordinate stakeholder expectations; escalate non-standard cases with approvals.
• Provide backup for document-based onboarding activities and other Sales Operations duties during peak periods.

Requirements:

Merchant Onboarding

• Handle merchant onboarding for Submerchants, Off-Us SPL, and Off-Us Marketing Promotion requests.
• Validate merchant information and requirements and ensure accurate system updates and documentation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders including Marketing, BD/KAM, Product, Operations, and other relevant teams.
• Monitor pending cases and timelines, resolve dependencies, and ensure onboarding requests are completed within required timelines.

Merchant Kit Replacement

• Process approved new/replacement requests for QR, POSM, tent cards, SIM cards, phones/devices, and other kits.
• Coordinate fulfillment with inventory, logistics, and vendors; track delivery and elevate delays.

Process Improvement and Automation Support

• Identify recurring issues, manual activities, and operational bottlenecks and provide feedback.
• Support UAT, testing, and implementation of approved process improvements and automation.

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate onboarding, merchant support, replacement, and inventory trackers.
• Provide required daily, weekly, or ad hoc updates and ensure cases are properly documented.

Quality and Stakeholder Management

• Maintain data accuracy and quality across merchant records, systems, trackers, and supporting documents.
• Manage stakeholder coordination and exceptions and elevate non-standard cases with proper approvals.

Backup Responsibilities

• Provide backup for SO document-based onboarding activities, including other non-Off-Us onboarding needs
• Support other SO BAU activities during peak volumes or temporary resource constraints.
• Perform other related Sales Operations duties as assigned by the Sales Operations Lead.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Management, or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in KYM/KYC, Compliance/AML, Banking, Fintech, Onboarding, or Document Verification.
• Familiarity with government and business documents (SEC, DTI, BIR, permits, GIS, IDs).
• Basic knowledge of KYM/KYC, AML, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong document review, data validation, and attention to detail.
• Basic to intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to manage high-volume cases within SLA/TAT.
