Job summary

Buoyant Industrial Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to present HVAC products and services, identify customer needs, and manage projects from coordination through delivery. You will build relationships with clients and coordinate activities to ensure timely project delivery.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 2–3 years in HVAC sales, and proficiency in MS Office with CAD interpretation skills. Travel and self-motivation are required for success in this role.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• 2–3 years experience in Sales, preferably in HVAC industry.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC industry and ISO standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and can interpret CAD drawings.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.

About the role

A Sales Engineer role focused on presenting company products and services in the HVAC industry, identifying customer requirements, and managing client relationships and projects from coordination through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Present company products and services with ease and proficiency
• Identify current and future customer service requirements
• Establish personal rapport with potential and actual customers
• Prepare itinerary and weekly sales report
• Establish long-term relationship with internal and external clients
• Handle assigned projects and act as project-in-charge, overseeing all phases from client coordination to project delivery
• Recommend preventive and/or corrective courses of action

About you

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering
• At least 2-3 years experience in Sales, preferable in HVAC Industry with both Sales and Technical expertise
• Knowledgeable in HVAC industry and ISO standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and can interpret CAD drawings
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Results-oriented, flexible, able to multi-task, works efficiently, has keen attention to details, can work under pressure
• Willing to travel with valid driver's license
