About the role

The Sales Consultant is responsible for generating leads, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products and services. You require excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers through networking, referrals, cold calls, and social media.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and consultations to understand customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Provide expert advice on products and services, highlighting features and benefits to meet customer needs.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and sales agreements within company guidelines.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Follow up with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions.
• Maintain accurate sales records.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field; or relevant sales experience may be considered.
• Sales experience, preferably in automotive, real estate, financing, insurance, retail, or other customer-facing industries.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently deal with customers and build professional relationships.
• Customer-oriented, persuasive, and negotiation skills with the ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
• Willing to conduct fieldwork, networking, client visits, and other sales activities as required.
• Basic knowledge of sales processes, quotations, documentation, and payment/banking procedures.
• Computer literate, with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or other sales-related systems.
• Able to prepare and maintain accurate sales and customer records and complete required documentation.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, meet sales targets, and work under pressure.
• Valid driver's license is an advantage, preferably with the ability and confidence to drive vehicles.
