Job summary

United Steel Technology (STEELTECH) Int'l Corporation in the Philippines seeks a sales-oriented professional to drive retail and general sales growth in the Ilocos Norte region. The role emphasizes product knowledge, customer engagement, and profitability.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and at least two years in sales, with FMCG/pharma exposure as a plus. Residence in Vigan, Laoag, or San Nicolas is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• At least 2 years of working experience in Sales-Retail/ General or equivalent is required for this position.
• Background/experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods and Pharmaceuticals is an advantage.
• Responsible for achieving maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration, ideal accounts receivable management within an assigned territory, and/or market segment.
• Preferably residing in Vigan/Laoag and San Nicolas Ilocos Norte.

Responsibilities

• Generates new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information promptly.
• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
• Present price, credit, and terms by standard procedures and customers’ profitability profiles. Follow-up for collection of payment.
• Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability.
• Increase sales and average order size using cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales, and offering promotional sale items.
• Educate customers about the terminology, features, and benefits of products to improve product-related complaints
• Set up sales and customer satisfaction
• Manage time effectively, meet personal goals, and work effectively with other members of the distribution team.
