Job Summary
The Safety Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs within our Clark facility. This role involves identifying workplace hazards, conducting safety orientations, and ensuring the company remains compliant with RA 11058 and CDC safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Inspections: Conduct regular walk-throughs of the facility/site to identify potential hazards and ensure all personnel are using proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Toolbox Meetings: Lead daily safety huddles and toolbox meetings to discuss specific risks associated with the day’s tasks.
- HIRAC Management: Assist in the preparation and updating of Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) documents.
- Permit-to-Work (PTW): Review and issue safety permits for high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, and working at heights.
- Incident Investigation: Act as a first responder to workplace incidents; document findings and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Compliance Reporting: Maintain safety logs and prepare monthly OSH reports for submission to the Project Manager and for CDC/DOLE audits.
- Emergency Response: Serve as a key member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), coordinating fire drills and earthquake simulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of any 4-year course (Engineering or Technical courses are an advantage).
- Mandatory Training: Must have completed the 40-hour BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health) or COSH (Construction Safety and Health) training from a DOLE-accredited provider.
- Experience: At least 1 year of solid experience as a Safety Officer.
- Certifications: Valid First Aid and CPR certification from the Philippine Red Cross is highly preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) of the Philippines.

Working Conditions in Clark
- Environment: Mostly on-site (plant floor or construction site).
- Schedule: Typically Monday to Saturday, depending on project needs.
