Meralco Energy, Inc. (MSERV) is seeking a Safety Officer to support Laguna project sites by recording and addressing incident reports, conducting safety inspections, and coordinating with project teams on HIRAC and AIRAC.
The role also involves administering safety orientations and serving as Pollution Control Officer. The ideal candidate holds a four-year degree, COSH training, at least two years of safety/health experience, and strong OSH knowledge with excellent communication and reporting
Records, monitors and addresses incident and accident reports.
Conducts safety inspections periodically to determine project compliance with safety requirements, laws and regulations.
Administers safety orientation and assists in safety trainings on safety practices, accident prevention measures and defensive driving techniques for site personnel.
Coordinates with the project execution group to ensure the administration of Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Controls (HIRAC) and Aspects / Impact Risk Assessment and Controls (AIRAC).
Functions as Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
Coordinates with stakeholders for the preparation and submission of DOLE/ DENR/ LLDA permits and reports.
Graduate of any four (4)-year bachelor's degree course
Knowledgeable in Loss Control Management (LCM) and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC)
Must have completed COSH training
With at least two (2) years of relevant safety and health experience
Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations and standards
Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
