Job summary

Meralco Energy, Inc. (MSERV) is seeking a Safety Officer to support Laguna project sites by recording and addressing incident reports, conducting safety inspections, and coordinating with project teams on HIRAC and AIRAC.

The role also involves administering safety orientations and serving as Pollution Control Officer. The ideal candidate holds a four-year degree, COSH training, at least two years of safety/health experience, and strong OSH knowledge with excellent communication and reporting

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year bachelor's degree.
• Knowledgeable in Loss Control Management (LCM) and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC).
• Must have completed COSH training.
• With at least two years of relevant safety and health experience.
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Record, monitor and address incident and accident reports.
• Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Administer safety orientation and assist in safety trainings.
• Coordinate HIRAC and AIRAC with the project execution group.
• Act as Pollution Control Officer (PCO).
• Coordinate submission of DOLE/DENR/LLDA permits and reports.
