Manila Water Company, Inc. seeks an Energy/Power Management professional to lead solar development, design, construction and permitting across facilities.
You will analyze energy bills, coordinate with Meralco, and ensure DOE/PSALM compliance while driving energy efficiency programs. The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, a Master’s in Energy Management or related field is a plus, and at least five years in solar projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree in Energy Management, Renewable Energy, or related field is a plus).
Minimum 5 years of experience in Solar Development, Design, Construction, and Permitting.
Strong background in using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other related software for reporting and analysis.
Background in Data Management and Analytics.
Monitors power industry and supply condition and market prices.
Coordinates with Meralco for any facility power outage and power quality issue.
Develops Terms of Reference (TOR) used in sourcing of Power Supply for facilities under Open Access.
Conducts bid evaluation and conformance of the bidder to the TOR.
Analyzes bid offer that would be beneficial to the company through determination of optimal cost.
Monitors and reviews current demand and determine if the current Meralco contract is attain.
Simulates the possible load profile of the new facility to determine optimal contracted demand.
Conducts bill analysis to determine bill component spikes, etc. to determine increase or reduction on the tariff.
Conducts bill review and process payment for Meralco Bills (captive) and Open Access Bills (contestable).
Coordinates and generates compliance reports to energy related requirements such as DOE, ERC and PSALM.
Implements energy efficiency and conservation programs to comply with RA11285.
Conducts and facilitates internal audits to all of the facilities of Manila Water and support services.
Gathers Data, Generate Energy Review and provide insights on Energy Review of each of the operating facilities.
Maintains record of every month’s transaction for reporting and reference purposes and determination of facilities actual consumption.
