Job summary

Heap Const. Solutions Inc. is seeking a Safety Officer to ensure on-site safety standards across the Limay, Bataan project.

You will monitor compliance, conduct inspections, and coordinate safety training to maintain an accident-free work environment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, COSH certification, knowledge of DOLE safety standards, and at least one year of relevant experience in construction or industrial settings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring the Implementation of Safety Standards and Practices on site or within the workplace. The role includes monitoring compliance with Occupational Safety Laws, conducting inspections and trainings, and investigating safety incidents to maintain a healthy and accident-free work environment.

PROJECT DETAILS:

• Located at Limay Bataan

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor work conditions to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

• Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety measures.

• Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and safety drills.

• Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and unsafe working conditions.

• Recommend corrective and preventive measures to eliminate hazards.

• Maintain safety documentation, inspection checklists, and training records.

• Process permits application and documentations needed on site.

• Prepare reports – daily site monitoring update, accomplishment reports, and other necessary reports.

• Coordinate with project and site management regarding safety concerns and improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering, Safety Management, or any related field).

• Has valid COSH (Construction Safety and Health) certification.

• Knowledge of DOLE and other government safety standards.

• At least one (1) year of relevant safety experience (preferably in construction/industrial work).

• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to lead trainings and coordinate with various teams.
