Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective implementation of company rules and safety policies.
  • Monitor project site compliance with labor standards and procedures.

  • Perform daily safety inspections to protect workers and the environment.
  • Monitor project manpower and administer first aid treatments.
  • Conduct accident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Issue stop-work orders for hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Ensures effective and efficient implementation of company rules and regulations, quality policies, systems and procedures, OSH Procedures, and safety plan of the project.
  • Monitor project site compliance with standards and procedures promulgated by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Working Conditions, Health and Safety Division.
  • Conduct Health and Safety Educational training / orientation for all levels at the project site.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections in the workplace to ensure the protection of the workers and environment.
  • Monitor project manpower.
  • Stores, administer, and monitor first aid treatments on injuries, accidents and other health related illness.
  • Conduct accident investigation, analyze and formulate recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Conduct periodic safety walkthrough with the PM/PIC.
  • Issue a stop-work order should he/she find the work potential to hazard condition or imminent danger.
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree
  • Relevant safety certifications or training, such as COSH/BOSH are preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
  • Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to construction sites
  • Strong communication skills
