Job summary

Luzviminda Engineering in the Philippines seeks a Safety Officer to ensure construction activities comply with OSH standards and company policies while enforcing safety procedures on site.

You will conduct daily site inspections, investigate accidents, monitor PPE usage, prepare DOLE compliance reports, and train workers on OSHA topics, with assignments in Cagayan (Santa Ana).

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering Course or related courses.
• Experience in Construction an advantage.
• With Training Certificates (COSH/BOSH).
• Open to Fresh graduate.
• Willing to be assigned in Cagayan.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe conditions, hazards, and unsafe work practices.
• Ensures that construction workers and staff are following established safety policy and procedure
• Investigate accidents, injuries, near misses, and other safety incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and other safety devices.
• Prepares and submit DOLE compliance reports.
• Ensures proper implementation of corrective actions
• Suspends work where conditions are unsafe for the construction workers
• Conducts Toolbox meeting and train workers on safety topics required by OSHA
• Ensures that safety procedures is aligned with the quality standards and regulatory requirements
