Job summary

UnionBank is seeking an Acquisition Risk Officer to join the Risk Management team in Ortigas, Pasig City. The role focuses on setting risk appetite, policy implementation, and portfolio performance to ensure sustainable growth.

You will develop data analytics, create Python programs for MIS reporting, and support risk reporting while collaborating on new product launches and partnerships. Strong analytical skills and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• 2–5 years' experience in credit risk, portfolio management, or risk analytics (banking/financial services preferred).
• Strong data analytics skills with experience in portfolio monitoring and risk performance management.

Responsibilities

• Work with Risk Management to set risk appetite and monitor policy adherence.
• Collaborate with Business, D&A and Credit to manage portfolio and ensure plan achievement.
• Develop Python programs and MIS reports for monitoring new unsecured products and partnerships.
• Provide analytics for Credit Risk Reporting and Portfolio Quality Review reporting; ad-hoc as needed.
• Assess risk in business decisions to safeguard the firm’s reputation and ensure compliance.
