Job summary

Empower is seeking an Implementation Consultant to lead successful installation of retirement plan sales and act as the project manager and consultant for conversions. You will serve as the primary contact for plan sponsors, advisors, and third-party administrators, coordinating timelines and deliverables.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, 1–2 years of implementation experience, excellent communication, and willingness to work overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact to manage installation of new retirement plan sales.
• Lead weekly calls with plan sponsors, advisors, and administrators for project timing.
• Discuss service agreements and features with sponsors for clarity.
• Review plan provisions to ensure correct restatement of documents.
• Coordinate payroll file mapping with the plan sponsor and Empower.
• Facilitate transfer of plan assets and records with providers and teams.
• Maintain deadlines and timelines for transfer and startup activity.
• Ensure quality work and adhere to procedures to minimize market risk.
• Work extended hours during peak seasons.
