IBCOM Kitchen Equipment (Manila) Inc. is seeking a Retail Custodian to maintain cleanliness and order in our retail showroom and work areas. The role involves keeping the store presentable, assisting with product arrangement, and supporting the retail team in daily operations.

You should be able to stand for long periods, lift items, and follow safety guidelines. High school diploma preferred; prior custodial or housekeeping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is an advantage.
• Experience in custodial or housekeeping roles is preferred.
• Experience in retail store, showroom, or warehouse is an advantage.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, and moving items.
• Able to properly handle and care for kitchen equipment and merchandise.
• Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of the retail showroom, office, storage areas, and other assigned areas.
• Regularly clean floors, windows, display areas, shelves, counters, equipment, and other store fixtures.
• Ensure that products, kitchen equipment, and displays are properly arranged and presentable.
• Assist in moving, arranging, and organizing equipment and merchandise within the showroom or storage area.
• Help maintain proper organization of stocks, supplies, tools, and other retail materials.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and transferring merchandise when required.
• Report damaged, missing, defective, or improperly displayed items to the Store/Retail Supervisor.
• Assist in preparing the showroom and display areas for customer visits, deliveries, promotions, and other activities.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning and store supplies as needed.
• Ensure that aisles, entrances, display areas, and workspaces remain safe, clean, and free from obstructions.

About the role

IBCOM Kitchen Equipment is looking for a Retail Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and proper condition of our retail showroom and work areas. The Retail Custodian will be responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable store, assisting with the proper arrangement and handling of products and equipment, and providing general support to the retail team in daily store operations.

About you

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is an advantage.

• Previous experience as a Custodian, Utility Staff, Housekeeping Staff, Store Assistant, Warehouse Helper, or similar position is preferred.

• Experience working in a retail store, showroom, warehouse, or commercial establishment is an advantage.

• Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting, and moving items as required.

• Able to properly handle and care for kitchen equipment and merchandise.

• Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy.

• Good attention to cleanliness and organization.

• Willing to follow company procedures and safety guidelines.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
