We are seeking a Retail Sales and Operations Officer to join a new fragrance company in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in driving store performance and operational excellence. As Retail Sales and Operations Officer, you will bridge sales performance and day-to-day store operations, ensuring that our retail environments run smoothly whilst maximizing customer satisfaction and revenue generation. This role is essential to achieving our strategic retail objectives and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
Oversee daily store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness to maintain brand standards
Monitor and analyse sales performance, identifying trends and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth
Lead, train and motivate the sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets and customer service excellence
Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving and stock rotation to minimise shrinkage
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local retail requirements
Develop and execute promotional campaigns and in-store events to increase customer engagement and footfall
Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally, ensuring positive resolution
Prepare and submit regular performance reports, sales forecasts and operational metrics to senior management
Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to implement new product launches and seasonal campaigns
Conduct staff performance reviews and provide coaching to support team development and career progression
2 - 3 years of experience in retail management or store operations, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and improving store performance metrics
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams
Excellent knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising and point-of-sale systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail management software systems
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred
Experience in the consumer retail sector or managing high-volume retail environments would be advantageous
