Job summary

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee for its Balagtas, Bulacan retail team. This full-time role provides on-the-job training and mentorship to develop future store leaders who can oversee performance, lead staff, and drive business results.

You will learn across operations, customer service, and team management while contributing to store efficiency and customer satisfaction. This position offers a clear path to management with supportive leadership and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Secondary education or higher in business administration or retail management is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service mindset focused on exceptional experiences.
• Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
• Reliability and strong work ethic; able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic numeracy for cash handling and inventory management.
• Leadership potential to progress into management positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily store operations, including opening/closing.
• Monitor inventory levels and perform stock rotations.
• Support staff scheduling, training, and performance with guidance from senior managers.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries/complaints.
• Support sales targets and promote products to customers.
• Participate in visual merchandising and store presentation activities.
• Assist with cash handling and POS system operations.
• Learn and implement loss prevention strategies.
• Gather feedback and report insights to senior management.
