About the role

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a Retail Delivery Officer to join our dynamic team in a full-time capacity, based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our retail delivery operations, ensuring that products reach our customers efficiently, safely and professionally. As a Retail Delivery Officer, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction, directly contributing to the success of our retail distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the daily delivery schedules and routes for retail distribution across assigned territories
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to retail locations while maintaining product integrity and quality standards
• Oversee driver performance, safety compliance and adherence to delivery protocols and standard operating procedures
• Manage inventory tracking and documentation for delivered goods, ensuring accurate records and reconciliation
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to management
• Handle customer concerns and complaints related to deliveries, working towards swift resolution and maintaining positive client relationships
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on delivery performance, including metrics on on-time delivery rates and any incidents or irregularities
• Collaborate with the retail and warehouse teams to optimise delivery efficiency and support business objectives
• Ensure compliance with traffic regulations, company policies and all relevant health and safety standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in retail delivery operations, logistics management or a similar supervisory role within the transport and logistics sector
• Strong knowledge of retail distribution networks and delivery best practices
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience in coordinating teams and managing staff performance
• Proficiency in delivery management systems and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, route planning software)
• Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, retailers and internal stakeholders
• Knowledge of traffic regulations, vehicle safety standards and logistics compliance requirements
• Problem-solving ability with a customer-focused mindset
• Preferably holds relevant certifications in logistics, supply chain management or transport operations
