Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type (at least Professional Driver's License or equivalent).
• Minimum 2-3 years of driving experience in a commercial or logistics environment.
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
• Knowledge of Metro Manila road networks and traffic conditions.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
• Physical fitness to load and unload heavy items safely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime when necessary.
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one (preferred).
• Experience in retail logistics or consumer goods distribution (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Transport goods, merchandise and materials to designated locations on scheduled routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
• Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring goods are properly secured during transport
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers and warehouse staff regarding delivery status and any issues
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle interior and exterior
• Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents or safety hazards immediately to management
• Assist with general warehouse duties and stock management as required
• Maintain professional conduct and represent Polystar Manpower Services positively with customers and the public
