Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking an experienced RMS Head to lead strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of restaurant management systems across all stores and commissaries. You will drive operational excellence by overseeing system optimization, inventory governance, process standardization, and digital transformation initiatives, leading a high-performing team.

The role requires 10–15 years in RMS/operations, 7+ years in leadership, and strong ERP/RMS expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• 10–15 years in RMS, restaurant operations, inventory management, or process improvement.
• At least 7 years of leadership experience managing managers or cross-functional teams.
• Strong expertise in restaurant operations, inventory governance, and ERP/RMS platforms.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide system implementations and change management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the RMS strategy across all stores and commissaries.
• Lead optimization and governance of RMS; drive standardization.
• Drive enterprise-wide process improvements for efficiency and cost control.
• Establish SOPs, governance, and operational controls.
• Oversee inventory governance, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance.
• Analyze metrics to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead RMS implementation projects, upgrades, and rollouts.
• Collaborate with Ops, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Commissary teams.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Management Systems (RMS) Head to lead the overall strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of restaurant management systems across all stores and commissaries. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence by overseeing system optimization, inventory governance, process standardization, digital transformation initiatives, and cross-functional operational improvements. The RMS Head will lead a high-performing team while partnering with key business units to ensure efficient, scalable, and technology-driven restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall RMS strategy aligned with the organization's operational and business objectives.
• Lead the management, optimization, and continuous enhancement of restaurant management systems across all stores and commissaries.
• Drive enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, productivity, cost control, and service quality.
• Establish and enforce standardized operating procedures, system governance, and operational controls across the organization.
• Oversee inventory management governance, ensuring inventory accuracy, stock integrity, reconciliation, reporting, and compliance with company standards.
• Analyze operational and inventory performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
• Lead RMS implementation projects, system upgrades, integrations, testing, and organization-wide rollouts.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Commissary teams to develop integrated operational solutions.
• Champion digital transformation initiatives that improve restaurant operations through automation and technology adoption.
• Develop operational policies, process documentation, user manuals, and governance frameworks to support standardized execution.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to monitor system effectiveness and operational performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop the RMS team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external technology partners to ensure system reliability and successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, audit requirements, and inventory control procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Operations Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10–15 years of experience in Restaurant Management Systems, operations excellence, inventory management, business process improvement, or systems implementation.
• At least 7 years of leadership experience managing managers or cross-functional operational teams.
• Strong expertise in restaurant operations, inventory management, process standardization, ERP/RMS platforms, and operational systems.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide system implementations, process transformation, and change management initiatives.
• Experience within the restaurant, food service, QSR, retail, or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking, project management, analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
