Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Restaurant Process Excellence to lead the organization's initiatives in process improvement, operational standardization, and restaurant systems optimization. The role will drive the development and implementation of efficient, scalable, and sustainable processes across the restaurant network, stores, commissaries, inventory operations, and supply chain.
The position will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Commissary teams to improve productivity, inventory accuracy, cost efficiency, and overall operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's process excellence strategy and continuous improvement roadmap.
- Lead the review, analysis, and redesign of restaurant, commissary, inventory, and supply chain processes.
- Establish standardized operating procedures, process controls, and governance frameworks across the restaurant network.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, and opportunities for cost reduction and productivity improvement.
- Oversee restaurant management systems and related platforms that support operational processes and inventory governance.
- Lead cross-functional process improvement, system implementation, and business transformation projects.
- Drive inventory accuracy, reconciliation, process compliance, and operational control initiatives.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance monitoring mechanisms to measure process effectiveness.
- Promote automation, data analytics, and technology-enabled process improvements.
- Partner with business leaders to ensure process improvements align with organizational objectives.
- Lead change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption of new processes and systems.
- Manage and develop the Process Excellence team, including managers and senior professionals.
- Oversee project priorities, resources, timelines, and implementation outcomes.
- Present strategic recommendations to executive management regarding operational improvements and systems investments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10–15 years of relevant experience in process excellence, continuous improvement, operations excellence, restaurant systems, or related functions.
- At least 7 years of leadership experience, preferably managing managers or large cross-functional teams.
- Extensive experience in restaurant operations, QSR, food service, retail, hospitality, or other multi-site operations.
- Proven experience in business process redesign, operational standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, inventory management, supply chain processes, and operational controls.
- Experience with ERP, RMS, POS, process automation, or business intelligence systems.
- Strong analytical, project management, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and change management capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organization-wide transformation and deliver measurable operational improvements.
