Job summary

Oak Drive Capital Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager in El Nido, Palawan to lead the beach club’s daily operations and guest experience.

You will coordinate kitchen, service, bar, and venue readiness while upholding brand standards and driving operational efficiency. You will develop and enforce service protocols, manage inventory and vendors, and collaborate with Finance and Marketing teams to optimize costs and promote events.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of dining operations management experience.
• Experience in Siargao, La Union, or Poblacion is advantageous.
• Bartending background and relationships with promoters are advantageous.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen – entrepreneurial mindset.
• Able to plan, prioritize, and organize work.
• Willing to be deployed in Siargao.

Role Summary:

This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring seamless coordination between kitchen, service, bar, and venue readiness, while upholding brand standards and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations
   1. Manage the day-to-day activities of the beach club, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
   2. Create and execute standard protocols to maintain consistent excellent service quality and guest experience
   3. Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to promote cost efficiency, reduce wastage, and achieve superior quality standards
   4. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff
   5. Compile and deliver reports to management, providing analysis and actionable recommendations
   6. Collaborate with the consulting F&B team to review and update menu based on customer feedback, seasonal availability, F&B trends
   7. Oversee back-office operations including working with the head office Finance team
   8. Work closely with the head office Marketing team to implement effective social media campaigns, promotions, and events
2. People Management
   1. Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of staff members
   2. Cultivate a positive, engaging, and fun work culture
   3. Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations
   4. Hire, advise and, if needed, fire in coordination with the head office HR

   1. Execute and help strategize short and long-term plans for the beach club’s long-term growth.
   2. Provide insights on market trends, customer preferences and behaviors, and competitor activities.
   3. Constantly identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, especially regarding cost savings and improving our environmental footprint
   4. Make strategic recommendations based on financial reports and key performance indicators.
   5. Identify opportunities for collaboration or potential partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and or personalities to enhance the beach club’s offerings and strengthen its ties within the community
