• Ensure all products meet federal, state, and local food safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and labeling for all products.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.

• Provide technical support and training to staff on product handling and safety.
• Collaborate with suppliers for raw material sourcing and quality assessment.

Research and Innovation:

• Conduct research on new ingredients and technologies to improve products.

Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
• Licensed Food Technologist (if applicable)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant R&D experience in any of the following food product development: 1 year (Required) food manufacturing: 1 year (Required) industry segments: sauces and syrups (1), ice cream (1), baking/pastry (1), or beverages (1).
• Strong background in product development, formulation, and sensory evaluation
• Knowledgeable in food safety regulations and quality control standards
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and solve technical problems in product development
• Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
