Job summary

CDO is seeking a candidate to join our Food Manufacturing R&D team in Malvar, Batangas.

You will participate in conceptualizing development and improvement of products and manufacturing processes, prepare technical documentation, and support trials, pilot testing, and cost activities.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Food Engineering/Food Technology or related science, with 1 year experience, strong communication, and basic lab tool knowledge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Food Engineering, BS Food Technology, Biology or Chemistry or equivalent course.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email platforms, and basic data management systems.
• Willing to work beyond regular hours for product trials, production transfers, or costing activities.
• Physically fit and able to work under varying environmental conditions.
• Basic understanding of food safety standards, GMP, and laboratory protocols.
• Proactive in learning new procedures, tools, and technologies for food product development.
• Knowledge of laboratory tools and equipment (pH meters, salinometers, thermometers, moisture analyzers).
• Open to training, supervision, and skill development aligned with innovation goals.

Job description

Participates in the conceptualization of the development and improvement of products and related manufacturing processes/procedures.

With at least one (1) year experience in Food Manufacturing with background in Research and Development.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of BS Food Engineering, BS Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry or equivalent course.
• Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills and is capable of preparing technical
  documentation and reports clearly and accurately.
• Proficient in the use of basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
  email platforms, and basic data management or documentation systems.
• Must be flexible and willing to work beyond regular hours when necessary—especially during product
  trials, pilot testing, technical transfers to production, or product costing activities.
• Physically fit and able to work under varying environmental conditions.
• Has a basic understanding of food safety standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and
  laboratory protocols.
• Demonstrates a proactive attitude toward learning new procedures, tools, and technologies related to
  food product development and improvement.
• Has a basic working knowledge of laboratory tools and equipment such as pH meters, salinometers,
  thermometers, moisture analyzers, and food processors.
• Open to training, supervision, and skill development in line with the company’s innovation goals and
  technical standards.

Additional Information:

Successful applicant will be assigned in Malvar, Batangas Plant.
