Job summary

Vena Group seeks a Construction Compliance Engineer to manage regulatory compliance for renewable energy projects from development through commercial operation readiness in the Philippines. You will lead DOE, ERC, and IEMOP submissions, coordinate with Engineering, Construction, Grid, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams, and maintain compliance dashboards and filing schedules to ensure timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in renewable energy, power generation, or utility projects.
• Experience with DOE, ERC, and IEMOP regulatory processes is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of WESM registration and Philippine energy regulations.
• Strong coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, submission, and monitoring of all regulatory requirements for renewable energy projects.
• Coordinate with DOE, ERC, IEMOP, and market operators to ensure timely compliance and reporting.
• Develop and maintain a regulatory compliance matrix and filing schedule.
• Track regulatory policy changes and assess their impact on current and future projects.
• Coordinate testing, metering, and market readiness activities with IEMOP and stakeholders.
• Support cross-functional teams to obtain required documentation.
• Maintain organized records of permits, approvals, and correspondence; develop dashboards for status reporting.
• Improve internal compliance procedures and standard operating processes.
