Job summary

Vena Energy in Makati, Philippines, seeks a Senior Associate, Technical Services to ensure full regulatory compliance for renewable energy projects. The role leads DOE and ERC filings, BOI registrations, and BOC import compliance across project development, construction, and operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in regulatory roles within energy, a strong understanding of Philippine energy regulations, and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams and regulators.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in power plant operations, maintenance, or commissioning with leadership experience.
• 3–5 years in regulatory compliance, government relations, or legal/regulatory roles.
• Proven experience with DOE, ERC, BOI, and/or BOC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file DOE requirements including COE/COR and RESC amendments.
• Lead ERC applications and permits, including COC, PAO, and tariff filings.
• Register projects with BOI and manage post-registration requirements and annual reports.
• Oversee import compliance with BOC for equipment and materials.
• Develop and maintain a regulatory compliance framework and calendar for projects.
