Job summary

Revaya is seeking an experienced Remote Rough Carpentry Estimator to support its U.S.-based estimating team. You will review documents, perform quantity takeoffs, and prepare rough carpentry estimates for various construction projects.

The ideal candidate will interpret architectural/structural plans, identify missing or conflicting information, and ensure accurate, well-documented estimates. Strong English communication and Excel proficiency are required, with potential collaboration across

Qualifications

Previous experience estimating rough carpentry, wood framing, or wood-frame construction.
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural construction documents.
Experience performing detailed construction quantity takeoffs.
Strong understanding of wood framing systems and construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

Review architectural, structural, and applicable civil plans.
Review project specifications and identify requirements affecting the rough carpentry scope.
Interpret plans, details, sections, schedules, and general notes.
Identify discrepancies between architectural and structural drawings.
Identify missing information and items requiring clarification or RFI.
Review addenda, bulletins, RFIs, and revised drawings and determine their impact on the estimate.
Quantity Takeoffs: prepare detailed takeoffs for rough carpentry materials and labor.
Assist with developing labor quantities based on takeoff information.
Understand relation between material quantities and field installation.
Identify conditions that may increase labor requirements.
Coordinate rough carpentry scope with other trades.
