Qualifications

Reads US construction drawings and specifications.
Has 3+ years in construction estimating or takeoff.
Understands drawing scales, details, keynotes and schedules.
Can identify missing or conflicting information and raise RFIs.

Responsibilities

Review US commercial construction plans and specs.
Identify fencing, gates and related scope.
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
Break systems into components and quantities.
Identify fence types, heights, materials and finishes.
Calculate line posts, gate posts and other components.
Identify footing dimensions and concrete quantities.
Review drawings across disciplines (civil, architectural, landscape, structural, electrical, security).
Review addenda and revised drawings.
Maintain source references for quantities and bid data.
Assist with material and subcontractor pricing.
Review AI-assisted takeoffs for accuracy.
Maintain estimating spreadsheets and deadlines.
