Job summary

AdminEdge is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator for remote, part-time work (20 hours/week) to support a U.S.-based contracting company. The role emphasizes blueprint takeoffs, service and design-build estimating, and bid management using AccuBid and BuildOps.

The ideal candidate will perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, price material and labor, and manage multiple estimates with deadlines. Excellent English communication and independent work in a remote setting are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical estimating experience.
• Experience supporting U.S.-based electrical contractors or construction companies.
• Demonstrated proficiency in blueprint-based estimating and field-driven service or design-build estimating.
• Ability to perform complete electrical quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications.
• Proven experience preparing electrical estimates from field scope notes without formal blueprints.
• Strong proficiency in AccuBid and ability to use BuildOps for estimates and handoffs.
• Excellent English communication skills; able to discuss estimates on live calls.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specs to perform quantity takeoffs and develop material and labor cost estimates.
• Prepare estimates for service, repair, upgrade, and emergency projects.
• Coordinate with field personnel to clarify requirements and confirm scope.
• Ensure estimates reflect site conditions and timelines; support urgent pricing needs.
• Manage multiple estimating assignments and bid deadlines.
• Maintain organized bid records and submission documents.
