Job summary

AbroadWorks Inc. is seeking a creative UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, user-centered software interfaces for our global clients.

You will build wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that translate complex requirements into clean, accessible experiences, primarily for software applications rather than marketing sites. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers in a fully remote setting, apply UCD and HCI principles, and help advance our SaaS products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of UX/UI experience
• Strong understanding of user-centered design (UCD)
• Ability to translate requirements into simple interfaces
• Experience with software UI, not marketing/site design
• Knowledge of HCI in design

Responsibilities

• Create user-centered designs with sitemaps, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for software applications.
• Translate business requirements and complex workflows into intuitive interface designs.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to balance user needs with business goals.
• Apply UCD and HCI best practices throughout the design process.
• Conduct usability iterations based on feedback.
• Develop high-fidelity designs promoting usability, accessibility, and consistency.
• Present concepts, flows, and prototypes to stakeholders clearly.
• Maintain design consistency following design systems and standards.
• Collaborate within cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
