Job summary

TeamUp is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing for US clients as a full-time independent contractor. This remote role requires exclusive commitment and reliable, on-time payroll delivery from a home setup.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of US payroll experience, familiarity with Gusto or ADP, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of US payroll experience required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll calculations, deductions, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Gusto, ADP, or Payroll Relief preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll process for clients.
• Set up and maintain payroll systems for new and existing clients.
• Maintain accurate payroll accounts and timely payroll processing.
• Prepare and review payroll reports and respond to client inquiries.
• Provide bookkeeping support as needed during the initial stage.
