Job summary

Global Finance Teams is seeking a detail-oriented US Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role will work closely with Finance and People/HR teams and will be responsible for maintaining accurate payroll information, resolving payroll queries and supporting payroll compliance and reporting.

You will handle new hires, terminations, deductions and year-end processes while safeguarding confidential information.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll, accounting or related finance role.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Experience with payroll systems and spreadsheets.
• Good understanding of payroll processes and controls.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee and financial information.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing.
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
• Process new hires, terminations, leave, bonuses and other payroll adjustments.
• Review deductions, benefits and other payroll-related transactions.
• Reconcile payroll reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Support payroll-related journal entries and month-end activities.
• Respond to employee payroll questions professionally and promptly.
• Assist with payroll tax filings, compliance requirements and year-end reporting.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and external payroll providers.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and controls.
