Job summary

TSG Outsourcing is seeking a US Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for a growing Home Health organization from a remote setup. You will process bi-weekly US payroll for 100+ employees, with a focus on California payroll requirements and Paylocity.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, Scheduling, and Clinical Operations to ensure accurate payroll, respond to inquiries, reconcile data, and support year-end activities. Experience with Kinnser/WellSky EMR is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on US payroll experience.
• Payroll for 100+ employees experience.
• Strong Paylocity experience required.
• California payroll knowledge including overtime, PTO, sick leave, and final paycheck requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for clinical and non-clinical employees.
• Review timecards, visit-based payroll, mileage, PTO, and other payroll data.
• Process payroll adjustments, bonuses, deductions, garnishments, and final paychecks.
• Ensure compliance with California payroll and wage requirements.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies before submission.
• Support payroll onboarding, employee changes, and terminations.
• Respond to employee payroll concerns and resolve issues promptly.
• Generate payroll, labor cost, PTO, and overtime reports.
• Assist with audits, workers' compensation reporting, and year-end payroll activities.
• Reconcile third-party contractor invoices.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate payroll records.
