Job summary

Emapta Philippines seeks a seasoned Training Team Lead to shape curricula, coach trainers, and tie development initiatives to measurable business outcomes across Canada and the Philippines. This role offers permanent WFH, weekend offs, and a top-tier employee experience.

You will manage day-to-day training operations, craft curricula, mentor trainers, and ensure programs align with KPIs, with opportunities for global exposure and career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant training experience in a contact centre or BPO environment, including 2+ years leading trainers or a training team.
• Hands-on experience designing, redesigning, or improving training programs and curricula.
• Experience coaching and developing trainers through observation, feedback, performance conversations, certification, and/or development plans.
• Background in supporting new-hire training, refresher training, and upskilling initiatives.
• Ability to create clear, practical training materials using PowerPoint, Canva, and AI-enabled tools.
• Ability to interpret training feedback, performance data, and KPIs and translate findings into improvements.
• Familiarity with learning management system (LMS) platforms.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Strong training delivery, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the training department to support its overall success.
• Assess training needs and develop curricula and programs to address them.
• Lead, mentor, and coach trainers by setting expectations, observing delivery, providing feedback, and managing individual development plans to prepare them for greater responsibilities.
• Ensure every class on the training calendar is staffed and prepared, and flag scheduling conflicts to the Senior Manager early.
• Manage refresher training schedules in collaboration with Workforce Management.
• Work with department leaders and managers to define training requirements for customer operations, including changes from Process Improvement, Product/Development, and Compliance.
• Partner with QA and Documentation to incorporate quality findings and procedure updates into training.
• Support new recruits through direct training and by helping trainers coach and develop their classes.
• Create, review, and maintain training materials, including decks, one-pagers, job aids, and manuals, and coach trainers on making materials clear, visual, and easy to use.
• Maintain an up-to-date curriculum database and accurate training records.
• Apply established educational principles and stay current with new training methods and techniques.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using session feedback, employee skill development, and KPIs to identify improvements.
• Perform other related tasks as required by the employer.
