Staffstream seeks a Medical Virtual Assistant to act as the remote front desk for an Australian telehealth service. You will manage patient bookings in Halaxy, handle Medicare and private billing, and maintain accurate patient records while upholding Australian privacy standards.

The role is remote and Philippines-based, part-time, contractor-style. Experience with Halaxy is essential; strong English communication and meticulous data handling are required to ensure smooth practitioner operations

Formación

• Hands-on Halaxy experience in medical reception, healthcare administration, or allied health setting.
• Practical Medicare billing experience including bulk, gap, and private billing in telehealth context.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Medicare billing rules and telehealth requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Handle medical reception tasks and patient management in Halaxy.
• Process Medicare and private billing; manage claims and refunds.
• Maintain accurate patient records and privacy-compliant documentation.
• Coordinate scheduling, billing information, and referral management for patients.
