Job summary

Recruits Lab is seeking a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist to source and engage technical talent for roles across biotech and tech sectors. This remote evening role suits someone with STEM interest aiming to break into technical recruiting, including positions like QC analysts, biomedical engineers, software developers, and R&D scientists.

Qualifications

• Academic background or strong interest in life sciences, biotechnology, computer science, or engineering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong research skills and ability to understand technical job descriptions.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Boolean search, or ATS tools is a plus.
• Organized, resourceful, and able to work independently.
• Bachelor’s degree (or in-progress) in a STEM field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source technical and scientific candidates using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and internal databases.
• Review resumes with a focus on technical qualifications and relevant experience.
• Write and send compelling outreach messages to engage candidates.
• Assist in screening candidates for hard skills (e.g., software proficiency, lab experience, certifications).
• Maintain candidate pipelines and update status reports in the ATS.
• Support recruiters with job descriptions, interview coordination, and scheduling.
