Job summary

Omega CRM, a Merkle Company, is seeking a System Operations Specialist to drive operational excellence for core systems. You will ensure compliance, coordinate backups and DR testing, monitor SLAs, and manage incidents across infrastructure, databases, and cloud services.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT operations, strong English, and familiarity with AWS, Snowflake/dbt, Python, SQL, and IaC tools. Remote work from Spain supports global collaboration with a top pharma client.

Qualifications

• 2+ years working as System Lead or similar.
• Understanding of hardware, software, networking and databases.
• Proven work experience in an IT technical support or similar role.
• Experience in regulated environments and multicultural teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Compliance documentation and operational governance.
• Coordinating backups, DR testing, and incident resolution.
• Monitor service levels and access identities.
• Coordinate patches and infrastructure changes.
• Manage change control and incident/problem management.
• Work with IT to retire or migrate legacy systems.
• Onboard systems to the EOC and coordinate knowledge transfer.
• Communicate transition results to the EOC reporting team.
