Job summary

Stefanini North America and APAC seeks a Senior System Engineer – System Lead Cloud to join our product team. You will engage with SMEs, validation managers, and developers to drive cloud-native initiatives.

Responsibilities include lifecycle management, DR/testing coordination, and ensuring governance and security across systems. Strong AWS, Kubernetes, and GitOps expertise are required, with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• IT-related degree plus 3+ years in IT System Lead or similar role.
• Subject Matter Expert in Change Control for Computer Systems and GxP IT systems.
• Experience with container-based solutions (OpenShift, EKS, Fargate, Kubernetes).
• Cloud platforms, preferably AWS Cloud services.
• Expert in GitOps with CI/CD, Jenkins, Jira and Bitbucket.
• ITIL Change, Problem and Incident Management.
• System monitoring using AWS native services or Dynatrace.
• Vulnerability management with ServiceNow and security tools.
• IaC automation for scalable, compliant deployments.
• Regulated environments (GxP) a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication; team player; excellent English.

Senior System Engineer – System Lead Cloud

We are looking for a technically strong team member with a multi-learning mindset who is curious, pragmatic, and comfortable contributing across software engineering, test automation, validation, and operational topics. As a member of the product team, you will work closely with Subject Matter Experts, Validation Managers, the Business Product Owner, Developers and other stakeholders.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage systems throughout their full lifecycle, including operations, maintenance, support, enhancements, compliance documentation, and decommissioning.
• Coordinate backup/recovery activities, disaster recovery testing, monitoring, logging, and operational readiness.
• Ensure compliance with security, risk, governance, audit, access management, and information protection requirements.
• Coordinate technical activities including infrastructure changes, patching, vulnerability remediation, certificate management, and cloud compliance.
• Manage incident, problem, change, release, and service management processes to ensure system stability and reliability.
• Oversee software and license management, performance optimization, scalability improvements, and cost-efficiency initiatives.
• Act as the primary liaison between business, IT, vendors, and auditors, coordinating cross-functional activities and stakeholder communications.
• Support system migrations, archival, modernization, and retirement activities in alignment with technology roadmaps.

Job Requirements

Requirements – Technical Skillset

• IT-related Bachelor or related/equivalent discipline combined with 3+ years of relevant experience working as IT System Lead or similar
• Subject Matter Expert in the areas Change Control for Computer Systems, GxP relevant IT Systems, Computer Systems Design and Installation
• Work experience in
• container-based solutions (e.g. Red Hat Openshift, AWS EKS, AWS Fargate, Kubernetes)
• cloud-based platforms, preferably AWS Cloud services and cloud operations
• Expert level in GitOps including CI/CD environments as well as container platforms and management systems (Jenkins, Git, Atlassian JIRA, Bitbucket)
• ITIL Change, Problem and Incident Management
• System Monitoring and application monitoring solutions using AWS native services and third-party observability platforms, such as Dynatrace
• Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessment, risk prioritization, remediation tracking, and compliance reporting using ServiceNow (SNOW) and third-party security tool
• Expert-level proficiency in automating and managing cloud infrastructure using IaC principles and tools, ensuring scalable, repeatable, and compliant deployments.
• Work experience in regulated environments (GxP) is a plus
• Good communication skills (both written and oral) and team player
• Excellent language skills in English
