Job summary

Offshore Launch is seeking a Structural Designer to turn concepts into robust structural designs for industrial equipment, foundations, and support structures. You will translate engineering needs and field realities into buildable, precise drawings and models using Tekla Structures.

Face challenges with a detail-oriented mindset, ensuring design integrity and timely collaboration with engineers, clients, and fabrication teams in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in structural steel and foundation design for industrial applications.
• Proficient in Tekla with 5+ years of experience; working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Familiar with OSHA, AISC, ACI, IBC, and AWS D1.1.

Responsibilities

• Design and draft industrial equipment, support structures, and concrete foundations.
• Collaborate with internal engineers and client teams to meet project requirements.
• Create high-quality models and drawings using Tekla Structures.
• Conduct detailed drawing reviews to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance.
• Provide structural expertise for equipment like silos, bins, conveyors, mixers, and more.
• Support project timelines, deliverables, and coordination.
