Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. seeks a Structural Steel Connector to support US-based detailing projects. You will create accurate 3D models and develop structural steel connections using Tekla Structures, interpreting drawings to meet drafting standards.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with 3+ years of Tekla detailing experience, knowledge of AISC standards, and proficiency in Tekla macros and custom components. Global collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
3 years of experience in structural steel modeling and connection detailing for US-based projects.
Proven experience with AISC standards and Tekla Structures (macros and custom components).

Responsibilities

Create accurate 3D models of structural steel structures using Tekla Structures.
Interpret engineered design drawings and translate requirements into accurate models.
Model and develop structural steel connections based on drawings and project specs.
Utilize Tekla Structures macros and custom components to improve efficiency.
Review models and drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards.
Identify and resolve modeling or connection errors before client submission.
Collaborate with project team to meet schedules and deadlines.
