Job summary

Deployed is a premier BPO firm partnering with global clients to provide workforce solutions. The Modeller-Editor role focuses on 3D modelling of structural steel in Tekla and creating detailed shop, assembly, and erection drawings for fabrication and site installation.

The candidate will ensure drawings align with project timelines and contractual requirements, while liaising with project managers, modellers, checkers, and editors to maintain high quality and clarity throughout the fabrication

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel modelling and shop drawing production.
• Must comply with Australian standards for drawings.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Proficient in Tekla Structures for modelling and drawing editing.
• Commercial or practical Tekla modelling/editing experience.

Responsibilities

• Study and interpret design drawings correctly.
• Model steel members and connections in Tekla.
• Produce and edit parts, assembly/shop and erection drawings.
• Ensure drawings meet client specs and standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure readability in fabrication.
• Generate RFIs and track design revisions.
• Troubleshoot drawing issues and ensure erectability.
• Review drawings for accuracy before submission.
• Assist in workload delegation across modellers and editors.
• Maintain organised files and documentation.
